The bowl shown with the fruit is to illustrate scale only.
No fruit is included.
The wood is unknown but is probably ash. It has an interesting grain pattern including some rippling making it particularly attractive. The rim is made by hand grinding and then
it was pyrographed to give the well delineated dark edge.
The three feet were hand carved from the base of the bowl prior to sanding. It was finished with one coat of sanding sealer and two coats of acrylic laquer giving it a lustrous sheen.
This is a special and unique piece.
